Permanent Makeup - Let's learn all about it

Were you probably wondering if it is a tattoo? Well you guessed right. Although it is different to a traditional tattoo as a semi permanent cosmetic tattoo is applied in a shallow way, so not as deep or dark as a traditional tattoo. This is why it is semi permanent. A cosmetic tattoo or semi permanent cosmetic makeup tattoo will gently fade with time so a top up after a few years is recommended to restore the colour. We highly recommend wearing sunscreen and a hat if you are in the sun to avoid premature fading.

One of the first questions we are asked about with cosmetic Tattooing is, "Does it Hurt?"

Because the application is so shallow there is very minimal discomfort. It feels slightly scratchy but I wouldn't say it feels painful. We do apply numbing cream throughout the appointment too. I find most clients will fall asleep during the application. Don't worry, every appointment we will map out exactly what we are going to do prior to any tattooing commencing. You will have the opportunity to adjust or change anything before we start. 

On the first day, your New Cosmetic Semi permanent tattoo will seem stronger in colour but on healing will fade 40-50% leaving a subtle "is she wearing makeup look". 

A Cosmetic Tattoo or Semi Permanent Makeup is your wakeup makeup making us feel more alive on waking.  At times you may still want to add brow pencil or lip stick to lips for that extra pop of colour.
